Just wanted to share a before and after! I've been working on getting healthier since November '23, but started on Tirzepatide back in April 2024.

Starting weight: 230
Current weight: 161
Goal weight #1: 150
Goal weight #2: Around 135

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder, we don't allow discussion of non-approved meds or selling anything here. Check the FAQ if you're new.

This is so inspiring! My starting point was around 240, and I'm at 233 now, with a similar goal as you. HeartCoffee can you tell me more about why you chose Zepbound?

Incredible! You look so healthy – straight out of a wellness ad! And your hairstyle is adorable.

Absolutely stunning! Your eyes and smile are just beautiful! Especially your eyes, they look totally different. I'm hoping mine will look like that when I hit my goal. My eyelids look so droopy right now. You look so radiant and healthy, HeartCoffee!

I saw a similar post elsewhere and someone mentioned feeling better than ever. Has anyone else experienced improvements in their energy levels and mood?

Absolutely, Fit-Tale! It's not just about the weight; it's about feeling healthier overall. I've definitely noticed a huge difference in my energy and overall well-being since starting my medication.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words! Answering Alex_33, I switched because my doctor felt Tirzepatide would be a better fit for my A1C levels and overall health profile. It was related to some specific markers on my bloodwork.

Wow, you're so close to your first goal! I'm just starting out, SW: 157, GW: 115. I had my first injection yesterday and I'm really hoping this will finally be it. I've been fighting this my whole adult life.

Thanks, HeartCoffee, that's good to know. I'll discuss that with my doctor next time. I know it's also about lifestyle changes, so I've been trying to get more active. Anyone else incorporate exercise?

People don't understand this is a metabolic drug, not a willpower thing. Look at the stats on what happens when people quit - most gain it all back unless they have T2D. You'll need ongoing adjustment. Ask your doctor when the time comes; it's not a 'finish and quit' thing.
