Feeling like my best self!

Started at 242 lbs in May '24, now 180 lbs this month! Goal is 150 on 10mg.

I seriously feel like a different person, especially after dressing up for a wedding last night. I was looking back at pictures and actually liked how I looked. It's crazy because I've always hated getting my picture taken and would need a million tries to get it right.

I'm really proud of how far I've come. I'm dealing with some really tough stuff right now and trying to take it one day at a time. I've been working on my physical health, and now it's time to focus on my mental health. Hoping to reach my goal weight while doing it!

That's great progress, I'm so glad you are feeling good! I'm starting tomorrow, what doses did you titrate up to?

You always had such a radiant smile! It's wonderful to see that you've always looked lovely, but your smile really shows you've always been a happy and fun person 😁

You look amazing 👏🏻. Congrats on searching for and finding a “better version” of you. We’re all on that hunt. What an awesome transformation!

My wife has a similar body type/starting weight as you and has been experiencing a bit of a plateau early on. Is there a particular dosage or practice you can share that helped you with your success?

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Health_Hustle To answer your question about my dose and practices that helped, I found that upping my water intake helped a lot when I felt like I was stalling. Also, making sure I get enough protein has been key. As for the dose, I didn't really see big changes until I got to 7.5mg. Everyone is different though!

It's amazing how much body dysmorphia can affect us even after significant weight loss. I've read that it takes a while for our brains to catch up to the physical changes. It sounds like you're doing great though, focusing on building muscle!

I saw someone online mention that they still see the bigger version of themselves in the mirror while wearing smaller clothes. It's wild how the mind works! I'm a bit worried about dealing with that myself as I continue my journey.

Thanks for the tips! We'll definitely try those out. The water intake is a good reminder - it's easy to forget to drink enough.

Has anyone else experienced increased anxiety or OCD symptoms on these meds? I saw someone post about it online, saying their OCD went crazy after starting semaglutide. Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.
