Feeling SO much better!

Check out the before and after! About three years separate these pics. I started on a GLP-1 med last summer, and honestly, it's been life-changing. My joints used to ache like crazy, I felt ancient! Now, I feel years younger! Dropping the extra weight has improved everything, both physically and mentally.

@BrookPro, that's solid advice! I've been wondering about the best way to source these meds online... anyone have experience with that? I saw something about a service called Hers. Is it any good, or are there better options? I'm looking for reputable and affordable.

Be cautious about online vendors. Some are more reliable than others. Always verify that the pharmacy is licensed and reputable. Compounding pharmacies can be a good option, as @ZepBounder mentioned, but ensure they adhere to strict quality control standards.

Basically, yeah. They can create customized medications based on a doctor's prescription. It can be helpful if you need a specific dosage or have allergies to certain ingredients.

The clothed-versus-unclothed gap is one of the consistent experiences after major loss and gets talked about less than the numbers. The fact that the clothed version reads as the win is meaningful - both reflections are accurate in their own context, and they do not cancel each other out. The struggle part does not erase the win part. Planning the next chapter while sitting with that kind of mixed perception is exactly where a lot of people are at the two-to-three year mark.

Belt moment on a flight yesterday was incredible - had to loop it three times tighter instead of at the max notch. Crazy how obvious that made the whole thing.

Three years as the comparison window is the right scope for the full picture - the year-one before/after is always dramatic, but three years shows you whether the change held and compounded. The surreal quality of recognizing yourself in pictures doesn't go away quickly for most people.
