Filter Loss - Am I Doing This Right?

Yeah, that's the solution stuck up in the filter. I usually push it through with an extra half ml or so of bac water.

I talked about this when I mentioned filtering, but someone told me it was just my imagination, even though you can CLEARLY see the peptide in the filter. I prime and flush, but it's hard to tell how much is really in there. Someone claimed they knew how to avoid absorption, but I bet she isn't using your typical filter. I'd like to know her secret.

A ml is a lot. Are you using a huge filter? Here's the breakdown on filter size:

The goal is to use the smallest filter possible since peptides get stuck in it. Small filters like 4mm retain only about 0.07ml, while 13mm filters hold about 0.28ml, and larger 33mm filters can soak up 0.65ml.

In practice, you should be using a 4mm filter if your solution is less than 4ml, or a 13mm if it is more. I also pre-wet my filter with a little extra BAC after reconsituting. I take off the recon needle, put the filter on and push the liquid through.

You'd have a point except people like Alice actually track what happens. If you get steady weight loss at 1.5 to 2 per week on a lower amount with no side effects and no weakness, why bump it up and invite more problems?
