Finally did it! My first dose!

Stayed on the standard titration plan of 4 weeks at each level till I hit 8mg. Around 6mg the food chatter quieted but 8 was truly the game changer-dropped 30 pounds over roughly 8-10 weeks. Now at goal weight and hunting for the right maintenance level. Don't give up, it's worth sticking with it even when hope fades in the beginning.

The first-dose quiet is on the early end of the response curve - most people hit it at dose 2-3 rather than dose 1. The ones who feel it immediately tend to be the stronger responders overall, and the effect usually deepens through the first month. Worth noting whether it correlates with specific foods or the general background craving signal.

you crushed it! maintenance is scary with no real map and it'll probably be trial and error. lower doses, space them out more, experiment and see what works. everyone's different so your sweet spot might not be someone else's. go slow and trust yourself.

The Friday start is the most common timing here for that reason - day 3 on a weekend gives you room to rest if needed. Some people feel nothing, some feel rough through day 2 or 3. Either way, noting the actual injection day is useful so you can track how each dose week goes.

The first injection is the hardest - the anticipation is always bigger than the event itself. Every subsequent week is easier. It becomes routine faster than most people expect. How are you feeling?

Shifting injection day to avoid the peak nausea window at work is the right move. The first 48-72 hours are the most unpredictable, especially early in treatment. Most people settle on a day that gives them the weekend or a lighter workday to absorb the first response. It stabilizes after a few doses once your body knows what to expect.

First dose is the best - all the hope, none of the side effect experience. The adjustment phase has a real end point. Most people are through the rough part within 2-4 weeks of each step.

The 2.5mg opening phase is about acclimation, not clinical effect. Most people feel the appetite signal only after escalation. The first dose is still the right place to start.

The first dose anxiety is real and almost always worse than the actual experience - most people find the mental barrier was the hard part once they've done it.

First dose is the hardest one to take - the anticipation is almost always worse than the actual experience. Scheduling around the first week is smart; side effects typically front-load and improve.
