Finally fit my old pants!

The non-scale victories accumulate in ways that are impossible to predict in advance - a cop asking for your number or a turkey seat no longer needing the XL version aren't metrics anyone tracks but they carry a different weight than the number on the scale does. The accidental smaller-size purchase is when it starts happening on autopilot, which is its own milestone.
