Okay, folks, here are my deets:
Started way back on 9/2024: 265 lbs, dress size 26, A1c 6.4
Ended on 8/2025: 153 lbs, dress size 8, A1c 5.1
Hit 10 mg at my highest but now on 5mg. Thinking about going down to 2.5mg in a couple weeks for upkeep (PCOS diagnosis so probably on this stuff forever).
My hormones are chill, blood pressure is good, back/foot pain is decreased, skin's clear, my eyes are better, cycles are predictable, and my fatty liver is gone! The only issue was anemia, but it's genetic plus prob from suddenly having periods again.
Most side effects were my fault: sulfur burps, constipation, and random nerve pain. A few injection site reactions.
Weight came off in waves, mostly when I had my period. Got some bug from work and lost a bunch then (all good now, went to the doc!). Biggest drop was the first 2 months - 40+ lbs, the doc said it was water weight.
I only lost like, 2 lbs of muscle, even when sick. I think it was my butt, lol.
I wanted to share what I learned when I started. You all are the best and so helpful. Thank you!
