Finally hit my target!

I reached my final goal today! I started last July, took a break for a few weeks due to a knee problem, but got back at it in December with more walking and some weights to help my knee. I can honestly say this stuff has helped me feel like myself again after struggling with weight for years, especially after the kids. They're 12 and 16 now, so the baby weight excuse is long gone. I was on 10mg, but I stepped down to 7.5mg about a month ago because I wanted to slow my loss and focus on keeping it off. I plan to step down again when it feels right and when my weight stays consistent at each dose, then decide whether to stop altogether later on. My biggest problem has been some thinning hair - it used to be super thick, but not so much anymore. Hopefully it will recover! Wish me luck!

Congrats man! To be at a good maintenance weight is just awesome, that's really my aim, good for you and congrats on getting there.

So happy for you! 👏🏼 You've totally nailed it! I'm just a month in & feeling so impatient, like I'll never get there. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going & good luck with maintenance 🫶🏻

Excellent. You look great and must feel awesome! Healthy and strong! I am just getting this journey started. I’m not sure how old you are but my hair was always thick..too thick and I had a ton of it. My personal journey with thinning hair coincided with peri-menopause and menopause. I can’t take any HRT because of a strong history of breast cancer in my family plus testing positive for HERS 1&2. But, you might ask your doctor. I know many women who have gotten a lot of benefit from the therapy. Hair loss went away, stronger nails and more youthful skin. Just an idea, as hair loss weighs heavy on my mind. So far it’s not that noticeable, but it does bother me. Hopefully it’s not going to get worse from taking Ozempic.

Congrats Cut-Wine. I'm happy for you!

I've heard some people experiencing hair loss with these meds. Worth getting your iron and thyroid checked.

Congrats! I've been on Ozempic for about 4 months now. Started at a higher weight and dropped about 15 pounds so far. Feeling much better, eating more regularly now. Settled on a dose of 0.75mg which seems to be right. Side effects have lessened a lot and I'm getting back to regular walks now.
