Finally seeing some changes!

Two years back I managed to get rid of 40 lbs on my own, went from 225 to about 195. Started on semaglutide this past spring and now I'm hovering around 175. I'm 5'6" and hoping to get to 145. It's been super slow. The first three months I think I lost 8 lbs. Then I paused for a month, went back on and lost like, 12. Now I'm stuck again (on the highest dose). It's a grind! But seriously, four years ago, no way would I have seen myself looking this good in a Halloween costume! This medication has given me back my confidence. 🌿💋✨

Congrats! You look amazing! Are you getting your body composition checked? I get scans every couple weeks and it's cool to see how my muscle and fat change. If I don't lift weights or get enough protein, the muscle goes down. If the scale isn't moving much, maybe you're gaining muscle while losing fat - so the overall number isn't that different, but your body is still changing a lot.

Either way, great job!!!!

You look great!! ❤️🎉🎉🎉 Well done!!

We have similar stories! I was at my heaviest when I weighed 215 and then I lost 15 pounds by myself using IF and keto.
Then on April 1st, I weighed 195 when I started Semaglutide.
I'm now at 2.4 mg and my weight is 150!! 👍
I don't really have a final goal weight. I just want to wear my smaller size clothes again. And I've been exercising so I know muscle is heavier than fat so I don't know what to expect weight-wise.

But congrats and good luck!! 😊😎🤗

I love hearing that! It's not just about the numbers, it's about how you feel. Have you noticed any changes in your energy levels or mood?

For anyone just starting, HOLD ONTO SOME OLD CLOTHES. seriously i have a pair of jeans that are several sizes bigger than what i wear now, and its crazy seeing the difference.

Plateaus can be frustrating. Sometimes a change of diet or exercise routine can help break through them. Have you considered talking to a registered dietician?
