Male, just turned 50. Haven't seen a weight this low since high school – around 195! All my life I've been considered overweight. Tried every diet imaginable, then I discovered these GLP-1 meds.

I stopped drinking a couple of years back, been hitting the weights 5 times a week. Also experimenting with anti-aging stuff like NAD+ supplements, and honestly, I feel like I'm in my 20s again. It's not just about the weight; it's about feeling alive again.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone: let's keep the discussion focused on FDA-approved medications. No talk about unapproved sources or selling/buying anything, please. If someone PMs you with an offer, don't take it; they're not endorsed by this forum. If you're new here, check out the FAQ. This is just to help maintain a helpful and safe environment.

I totally get what you mean about others noticing before you do! I've only dropped around 15 pounds, and I still feel like I look the same. But my sister keeps saying my face is slimmer. It's weird!

5'7", active. down from 195 to 165 since february. solid 3 lbs a week, good energy. aiming for around 1200 cal. most is protein isolates, nutrient dense stuff. could eat a cookie but honestly don't want to.

not many food aversions have faded for me. but it's easier over time - almost 3 years now - and it tells me this stuff still works. means i can trust the new life i built. most aversions are stuff i shouldn't eat anyway. hard liquor, wine, beer taste weird. sugary stuff, greasy food - just gone.
