First shot jitters - tips?

Ok so I know my dosage (small 1.25mg), how to mix it, and the logistics of starting… but how do I prep my system? What to consume or not consume? When do the electrolytes come in - today or tomorrow? Any different routines on injection day?

Also, planning an evening injection, how long post-dinner is ideal?

With tirz, the GI issues, if any, hit around day 2 or 3.

I take it at any time. When I started compounded tirz, I was so excited, I injected as soon as I got home.

Whenever you like is fine. Hydration is key, so stay hydrated. You might not feel hungry after tirz, or thirsty, so drink water. Very important. Electolytes if you're not eating or drinking enough. Fiber is good, too. Food or supplements, either way. Protein shakes help. Protein is crucial. If you're not eating enough, protein shakes are your friend. Start injecting and good luck!

Thankfully, I mill my own wheat and so I'm good on fiber. A couple days of commercial products is enough to make me regret it. So definitely want to avoid that while on the med 😬😅.

I'm worried about protein intake, but trying to figure it out. Sensory issues make it hard if it's not my usual meats, but the cost is so high right now. I need to find a protein drink I can tolerate but I can't stand the alternative sweeteners (did lchf years ago and they make me sick now) and the chalky taste of everything I've tried.

I am not a wheat fan. So I let others do the dirty work, haha.

I like Fairlife chocolate milk for taste. The Fairlife chocolate and vanilla protein shakes are good for more protein and less sugar, but I had to adjust to them a bit.

That’s great advice. The weirdest effect for me is a reduced desire to drink water. Really important to drink a lot, even when you don’t want to. I have my water bottle with me and refill it constantly.

Second that. Water, water, electrolytes, water, protein, water. Have to force myself to drink. It'll be two years in August on tirz (maintenance for about a year now) and I still have a small appetite. Staying hydrated is important. Good luck to you.😉

If you guys ever have questions about peptides, don't be afraid to ask! There are no dumb questions, especially with this stuff.

Thanks! I've been reading about BPC-157, seems like some folks use it for gut issues. Thinking of looking into that too. Any experience?

I've also found that having some Tums on hand can be helpful. Sometimes gas and reflux can pop up unexpectedly.
