Fitting room happy tears!

Okay, so back on December 6th of last year, I was squeezing into size 22 pants. Shopping has been a nightmare, right? But today? I finally went and tried some stuff on. An 18 was too roomy, so I grabbed a 16, and BAM! Perfect fit! I was bawling in that dressing room at Target. My hubby knocked, wondering if I was okay, and when I told him the news, he was so thrilled for me! I don't even know what to think! Also, it was weigh-in day, and I'm halfway to my goal in just under 5 months! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I used to roll my eyes at posts like this, thinking it was over the top... then I found myself a blubbering mess in a clothing store 'cause I could finally wear normal jeans after a decade! Congrats, you deserve it!

I've got a pair of beloved trousers stashed in a box. They've been there such a long time, I wouldn't be shocked if they'd cycled through being fashionable and unfashionable a couple of times. I told myself fitting into those would mean I was finally ok with my body. Then semaglutide came along! I'm probably going to need a revised goal now. I'll get there sooner than expected. Now what? I've made a list of rewards for every 20 pounds lost, mostly experiences and travel. The ultimate reward is a cross-country road trip. We all understand what this post is about. Congrats on your success, and keep sharing your story!

I kicked things off in Nov '23 at 289, size 20/22, and rocking 2x shirts. Fast forward to today, I'm 189, just snagged size 12 denim, and those large shirts swim on me. Aiming to shed another 20 or so, then cruise into maintenance mode. Been hanging out at 7.5 most of the journey.

So inspiring! I'm down almost 30lbs since starting sema a month ago, and seeing comparison pics is the ONLY way I can tell. The mirror lies! LOL. Hoping to drop another 50-60lbs.

I hear you about the face changes! I swear I look ten years younger now that I've lost the weight. Don't let anyone tell you it's not a real thing!

Absolutely amazing! Well done. May I ask what app your using to tract your losses?
Yeah, I'm curious about the app too. I'm using a spreadsheet, but an app would be way more convenient.

Congrats on the milestone! I started around the same weight as you and am close to losing 100 pounds too! Feels good, doesn't it?
