Food noise creepin' back!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Same thing happened here. Tried bumping the dose up, didn't really help even at 7.5 or 10mg. Put back on 10 pounds over two months. 5mg used to work incredibly well before this started.

About to find out whether 7.5 lives up to the hype, dropped 49lbs on 2.5 across six months. Bumped to 5mg five weeks back and lost 3 pounds that opening week, but nothing's moved since then, the scale's even ticked up a pound. Moving to 7.5 this coming weekend. Both hunger and food chatter have gone haywire since hitting 5mg. Hunger's tolerable enough, but that mental chatter is what's really getting to me.

Same story here, my food chatter quieted down for roughly the first ten days on 0.25, but then the weight I'd lost crept back and nothing's moved since bumping to 0.5mg. Figure I'll give each dose a full month before deciding whether to climb higher.

Funny that your hunger came back stronger at 5 mg, I would have guessed a bigger dose quiets it more. Did 5 mg keep your portions small and settle cravings and food noise, or did appetite control feel weaker overall? And did the weight keep coming off at the same pace after the increase?

By week 4 of the 2.5mg step my food noise started returning, so I bumped to 5mg and that worked much better. That's 17kg gone in 7 months (about 37lbs), currently on 6.25mg. Some people lose faster, though my starting excess was smaller (9kg from goal now), and some weeks were all booze, junk food and no discipline, so the scale froze or crept up. Cut yourself some slack. Slow wins the race here.

Go up a step! Very similar thing at 7.5mg for me: the food noise roared back with heavy binge eating, and I put a few pounds back on. For months I slogged along on 7.5 assuming the medicine was finished with me. Bumping to 10mg fixed it at once, like a switch flipped.

My dose never got high enough to remove hunger completely. Even at my current 5mg I get hungry. You should probably titrate down.

Oh I know that one, 5mg did it to me too. I was so hungry it felt like I'd never eaten all year, and I gained 10 lbs from binge eating... At the 9 week point I switched over to 7.5mg, and I've stayed there about 12 weeks. Food noise shows up and fades, but it's nothing like at 5mg... When hunger hits I just have protein, like a shake, yogurt, tuna and so on. I'd raise the dose to 7.5mg. It's been working nicely for me.

the way the food noise just vanishes that opening stretch is genuinely wild, almost unsettling. youre so used to constantly thinking about your next meal and then suddenly its silent. keep in mind 2.5 is mostly there to acclimate your body, some people dont feel much at all until they climb further up. but if suppression is already hitting you this hard, thats actually a good sign. hydrate way beyond what feels necessary, seriously. nobody warned me about dehydration sneaking up once youre eating way less.
