GHK-Cu powder... anyone using?

I would not apply directly, plus the cosmetic version is way more affordable. Look for it on vendor price lists, they usually sell it in grams and it's cheaper that way.

Hey all,

I purchased some from a Chinese company called YTBIO. They sell cosmetic-grade raw powder. Cost me 50€ for 10g + shipping.

I also got some basic cream from Amazon (see pic), specifically for mixing with copper peptides. I'm planning to make the cream soon and start using it. Fingers crossed for good results!

That sounds promising, and the price seems reasonable.

Buying from a source with COAs or 3rd party testing is best because there is a lot of fake cosmetic GHK-Cu out there. Anything super cheap from those sites is likely fake. GHK/AHK breaks down fast with light/moisture/heat, so store it dry in the fridge for longest life!

Once mixed into a serum, potency drops maybe 25% in a month, even refrigerated. Still OK, because at 3% concentration (1g/30ml) you likely have more than your skin can even absorb. PATCH TEST it first to avoid a bad reaction. Don't want to look like you had a chemical peel!

That's a good deal, assuming it's not too old. Without testing, you can't know for sure what you're getting. Established vendors are less likely to risk selling bunk product. A random seller offering a crazy cheap price might be selling anything.

If it costs much less than ~$10/gram (unless buying bulk), it's likely not legit.

I'm already using GHK-Cu as part of a "GLOW" blend that I do every few months. Since I've dropped around 30 lbs and plan to shed another 40 or so, I'm worried about loose skin. I've heard that topical GHK-Cu might help with that.

I'm not sure if it'll work, but I'm willing to try it out.

Understood. I'm really interested in your results. Some people combine microneedling with GHK-Cu, maybe you could add that to your routine with the cream.

Good luck!

I know the risks of buying from those sources. I got the vendor recommendation from another user in a private group. The vendor provided a COA for the powder and seemed professional. Still, I can't be 100% certain it's not junk. I'll share more after I've used it.

I'm starting with a 1% concentration cream and might increase to 2% later. I know copper peptides are sensitive and can degrade with light or improper storage.

I'll keep you all updated! 🤞

Here's my current GHK-Cu routine.

I bought a 10g vial from a source. Then I bought some Hyaluronic Acid serum. I mixed 1 gram into 2 fl oz. It feels nice on inflamed injection spots. I'm using it on my face and scalp, but I haven't used it long enough to give a proper review.

I know that protocol. I've made both a serum and the cream like I mentioned before.

I'm using both, but I prefer the cream because it's easier to apply. The serum is too runny for my liking. I think serum is better for microneedling only. The picture shows the cream I made (1% concentration) and a bottle of Matrixyl 3000. I'll add the Matrixyl to the next cream batch (2% GHK-Cu + 3% matrixyl).

Could someone please explain the difference between cosmetic-grade powder and the stuff used for subcutaneous injections?

Someone already asked if peptide powder can be applied topically, and the answer was that it's not recommended due to price. Is price the ONLY reason?

Anyone tried topical GHK? I wanted to start but fell down a rabbit hole reading horror stories about skin damage. Curious what worked or didn't for people here - dosage, mixing with other creams, the whole thing.

Cosmetic-grade and injectable powders differ mainly in purity, sterility, and how they are regulated. Cosmetic powders are meant for surface use, while injectable powders have much stricter standards for being injected into the body.

Cosmetic stuff needs to be at least 70% pure, research stuff needs to be 99.9% pure (pharmaceutical standard).

But since this all comes from China, they claim it's 99.9% pure anyway, either cosmetic or pharma. Up to you if you trust them, or get it tested.

Personally, I would stick to popular, widely endorsed sources.

You CAN use the pharmaceutical grade for topical use if you want - same molecules.
