If anyone's curious, happy to share my homemade copper-peptide facial serum recipe. Fairly straightforward. Just apply it to completely clean, bare skin, and skip layering anything acidic afterward, like retinol or vitamin C. Store it cold and finish it off inside thirty days.
Sourced my allantoin, panthenol, preservative, small amber spray bottle, precision scale, and pH strips through a general online retailer. Eventually picked up a matching pair of glass beakers with wide, flat bottoms too.
Copper peptide face serum, 50ml, at either 0.3 or 0.5 percent
Ingredients
distilled water
allantoin powder
panthenol (vitamin B5)
cosmetic-grade copper peptide raw powder, smaller amount for the lower concentration, larger for the higher one
broad-spectrum preservative
pH strips or a tester capable of reading below 5.0
amber glass pump or spray bottle, small size
Directions
Sanitize every surface and tool with rubbing alcohol (bottle, workspace, stirring tool, scale, packaging, beakers) and wear gloves throughout
Warm part of the water slightly, mix in allantoin until it's gone into solution
Combine the leftover water with panthenol and blend thoroughly
Stir in the copper peptide powder until fully incorporated
Work in the preservative, then measure and correct pH toward roughly 5.0 to 5.5
Transfer into the sanitized amber gl
