GLP-1 face: anyone else?

Hey everyone,

I'm a little bummed to report that I'm noticing some thinning up top lately. I've seen amazing transformations from people using injectable peptides but I was hoping to get some advice from those of you who've used topical stuff for hair stuff.

What kind of results have you seen? Do you buy pre-mixed serums, or do you make your own? I'm really interested to try making my own and have found a few recipes online. I've also seen different strengths recommended for scalp vs. face/beard. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm trying to avoid the dreaded bald spot reflection, lol.

I use topical GHK-Cu on my face, but for hair, you probably want AHK-Cu.

I mix The Ordinary multi-peptide hair serum (about 6ml) with 1g of raw AHK-Cu, giving me a concentration of around 1.6%. I use it nightly. Once a week, I also do a session with a straight AHK-Cu serum (lyophilized AHK-Cu mixed with bac water). I use a stamping tool to apply it initially, then go over it with a 1mm derma-roller. I leave it on overnight and wash it out the next morning with a gentle shampoo.

My hair feels thicker and healthier than it has in years.

It's interesting to hear about your protocols, PepClean. I have seen some studies suggesting that both GHK and AHK can be beneficial, but AHK-Cu may exhibit a slightly higher affinity for hair follicle-related proteins. It's important to note that individual responses can vary. Have you considered any blood work to rule out other potential causes of hair loss, such as thyroid imbalances or nutrient deficiencies?

Thanks for the info everyone! PepClean, that AHK-Cu concentration sounds intense. Might have to give it a try. Anyone else notice skin changes after losing a significant amount of weight? I've dropped about 40 pounds and I'm starting to see some weird wrinkling, especially when I flex. Any tips?

Yeah, it's pretty common. I've heard that building muscle underneath can help. Also, staying hydrated is key for skin elasticity!

That's correct. Muscle development can improve the appearance. However, significant skin laxity after substantial weight loss, especially in areas like the abdomen, may require more invasive interventions to see noticeable results. Red light therapy has shown some promise, but consistent use is very important.
