What a wild year it's been!

First pic taken around Sept/Oct of last year.
Started the shots in March '24
Second pic is from this March - down 95 lbs! Rocking a size 8 now. Used to be a 22/24, and went from 3x shirts to larges!

As a doc, when I hear patients whine about being on meds forever, I wanna shove these pics in their face and ask, 'Pic 1 or pic 2??' Because THAT'S the reason you stick with it! Amazing results!

I'm planning to stay on this forever too! Only dropped like 45 pounds so far, but more to go! Congrats on your amazing progress!

Huge congrats! This stuff is a game changer. I've struggled with weight since childhood. Nothing ever worked, not even surgery. Then I got diabetes and this med is finally working WITH my body instead of against it. Down over 100 lbs. It's amazing to hear stories like yours!

I've got diabetes myself. My A1c was always around 8, but now it's 5.9 after seven months. Used to need three shots a day, now just one. And I'm using 43 fewer units of insulin daily! So yeah, it's working wonders for me. Currently on 15mg for the month. Lost about 20 lbs, but it's more about the A1c and health benefits. Feels like I had gastric bypass. Minimal side effects too, so huge thanks to the creators of this med!

Good for you! I also think I will be on this stuff indefinitely.

How many diabetics do you see thinking, 'My A1c is great, blood sugar's perfect, so bye-bye insulin!'? Or hypertensives who ditch their meds just because their blood pressure is good?

I'm convinced obesity has a metabolic piece that's super resistant to diet and exercise. Starvation gets results, but it's miserable and unsustainable. I've dieted and exercised like crazy for decades, losing the same 15-20 lbs over and over. Six months of hell to lose it, then a vacation or something throws me off and BOOM, right back where I started.

Now I feel fantastic, back to my old size. NO WAY am I going back to square one.

This is why Big Pharma spends billions on R&D. And why they need to charge a lot for the one drug in a thousand that actually works and sells.

This med is a lifesaver. I'm on a compounded version now since I can't reliably get my regular dose. But all my numbers are great since losing about 50 pounds.

Congrats!! 🎉

My A1C was 13.1! One year later, down 80lbs, size 18 to size 8! Now 145 lbs! This is a lifetime thing for me, alternating 2.5 and 5mg doses. Keeping it as low as possible since I'm 59 and don't want to increase unless I have to!

We were meant to be here, just missing some GLP-1 connections! Thank you Monjauro! 💕🌷

I'm convinced that obesity has a metabolic component that responds very poorly to diet and exercise. Starvation will make anyone lose weight, but it's not pleasant and isn't sustainable. I've spent over 30 years with repeated diets, vigorous aerobic and anaerobic exercise regimes for months or years.. I have lost the same 15-20 lbs over and over. Usually 6 painful months to lose 15 lbs.. then vacation, job, travel, something breaks the routine for a week and zoom... I'm back to the top baseline

This is so true! It's not just about willpower. Some of us are fighting a biological battle.

I'm totally planning to be on this medication for life! My starting weight was around 300 lbs, and my type 2 diabetes was totally out of control. Now, less than a year later, I'm at 155 lbs and no longer diabetic! I've made so many lifestyle changes. If my insurance ever stops covering it, I'll work three jobs to pay for it!

Yep! I'm in it for the long haul. Some people will drop $500 a month for a car payment, why not spend it on a body you feel good in?

I'm not even using it for weight loss anymore. I lost about 40 lbs and I'm happy where I'm at. But it's working with my cholesterol meds to keep me healthy so I can see my grandkids grow up. I had a heart attack at 42 even though I was in great shape. Genetics suck. This stuff is helping with that too.

Wow, that's amazing! I'm glad it's helping with more than just weight.
