GLP-1 Injection Site Matters?

I've seen a fair bit about how best to inject GLP-1 meds. Some folks say injecting near where you want to see results helps. I'm new to all this and using it for weight loss. Since my tummy is where I want to trim down, it seemed logical to inject there. But I'm also trying to avoid feeling super sick. What are your thoughts on where to inject?

Okay, so personally, I think injecting close to the area you want to target gives the best chance for the medication to work locally, before it goes systemic. No concrete evidence, but I've seen the best results with that approach.

I've tried it both ways and honestly haven't noticed a massive difference. I usually stick to my thigh because it's just easier for me. Do whatever feels best for you!

I def felt sick after my first couple injections in my tum! That's why I'm asking.

I've heard some people mention feeling nauseous if they inject in their stomach. Has anyone else experienced that?
I did!

I always do my thigh. When I tried my stomach I felt awful for almost a week. I've dropped around 90 lbs since July doing my thigh, so it def works!

It's interesting how different injection sites can affect people differently. Some might absorb the medication faster or slower depending on the location and individual factors.

RN here, love giving injections. Apply pressure after? Always did clinically, makes difference, bruising included. Ten seconds enough. Stay sixty degree angle. Blood-thinners even baby aspirin increase bruise chance.

Felt stuck with insurance denying me at every turn too. Finally took the plunge myself and managed to get what I needed. So grateful to have you all here going through this together.
