GLP-1 Journey: Slow & Steady Wins!

Down about 45 pounds in the last year and a half. Snapped a pic in the same workout top, and the difference is crazy. Weight loss has been gradual, but I'm enjoying the process. Only a few close friends, my sweetie, and my mom know about the meds. Surprisingly, nobody's mentioned my changing shape, which is unusual in my circle. I'm usually fishing for compliments, but this time it's different. Happy to keep it private, focus on myself without pressure. It's the most success I've had in years. Big day coming up soon, can't wait to feel amazing!

Great job sticking with a manageable weight loss plan. It's gone from workout gear to a cute top. I'm three months in and also taking it slow and steady. Just told one buddy.

Way to go! We didn't put on the pounds overnight, so we shouldn't expect to drop it all at once. One day at a time. It's so important to be kind to yourself when you slip up or decide to indulge a little. We're also retraining our brains and building better habits. Keep up the amazing progress!

Thanks, everyone!

Since you're wearing workout gear, I thought I'd share some YouTube links I've been using. Quick 10-15 minute standing exercises, easy to squeeze in:

I'm so happy for you! I started on a GLP-1 last year, and recently had a procedure to remove excess skin from my lower abdomen. I had medical problems due to the apron, and it was worth it to get relief. No more rashes or constant back pain!

Wow

... I'm 69 and have type 2 - I lose weight at a snail's pace. I've dropped maybe 50 lbs in 9 months since starting 10mg. I didn't even know what an apron belly was until now!

Congrats! Slow and steady is the way to go. I'm down about 55 pounds in 5 months, started at 245, now I'm at 190. My goal is 155-160!
