GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

From what I've been reading, the oral semaglutide might be way more affordable than the injectables. Word is, it could be around $150, making it much more accessible. Some folks are hesitant about injections, so the pill might be a good option for them.

True. I've also heard patient education is critical for the oral version. You have to take it just right for it to work properly.

I started Rybelsus a while back 'cause I'm super afraid of needles. For the first couple months, I didn't really notice much difference in my appetite, but I was so tired and nauseous. I almost gave up, but I stuck with it until I got to the full dose. Then, around the holidays, it just hit me. The food noise just went away!

Time will tell how this plays out. A friend had ulcerative colitis and switched to a generic biologic that caused them serious problems even though the label said it was the same. They suffered until everything stabilized. Buyer beware.
