GLP-1 myths IRL?

12% having tried a GLP-1 and the conversation already this normalized is remarkable - most medication adoption curves take much longer to shift public perception. Once it crosses from 'those people on Ozempic' to 'my sister, my coworker, my neighbor' the stigma collapses fast.

losing a huge amount quickly and having no illusions about how is the most honest framing of how these medications work. the OP's experience of people skipping the 'how did you do it' question and going straight to assumptions is the social version of the same myth. not hungry is the answer and the 10k steps and dietary discipline are downstream effects of that, not the cause.
