GLP-1 online recs?

Hey everyone! Considering trying that online med place, you know, the one with the women's focus? Anyone have feedback on them? Or maybe some other places you all suggest?

I've mentioned these before, but here are some options I've recommended:

There's one that charges about $250 for a 3-month supply of the lower doses, going up to $300 for the strongest. They ship everywhere, I think.

Another one is about $400 for 3 months, no matter the dose. Heard their associated pharmacy had to move, so shipping might be paused in some areas.

Then there's a slightly pricier option that focuses on really personalized care with actual doctors. They send a 3-month supply, but bill you each month.

Just a heads up: stay away from those sites with monthly fees. They're usually not worth it. And be careful about people pushing affiliate links – they make money off you.

Oh, and definitely choose a place where you can choose your pharmacy. You don't want unexpected additives in your meds.

I actually started with that company for a year, and it was honestly pretty great at first. After a while, my cravings started coming back, and I wanted to increase my dosage. But, they only wanted to raise it a tiny bit, and wanted to charge me $650 for two months! So, I switched providers. I'm still glad I started there, though. It was a good introduction.

I've been using a different service for around 9 months now, and it's working out wonderfully. The price is good, they don't charge a subscription fee, and they accept FSA payments directly.

I'm a big fan of another place. I get several different medications from them, and they're really professional and responsive. Their prices seem decent too.

I'm on the same type of service. I’m four months in, and it's been really good so far. I paid for six months upfront at about $200 a month.

Another service is pretty good. Someone gave me a code for $66 a month for the first three months. After that it’s around $110 for any dose or $150 for a single month. I think the big brands are way overpriced.

I did use it. I had to kinda push to get the initial prescription after the consultation, but it went through in a week.

One place seems decent so far. It was around $230 for two months, and now it's $290, which isn't too bad. And no surprise charges yet!

I didn't really like the slow pace of that women's brand. I used another choice for about 8 months then switched to another one I found for the cost savings.

That women's service is often mentioned. When choosing, check how fast they ship, handle refills, and adjust doses. The initial price doesn't matter if they don't support you later. There are other places where communication is online through a portal, so research a few and find what’s best.

Thanks for all the options! I've been on a GLP-1 for about a month, and I want to switch programs. My BMI is around 28, and I don't have any other health problems. Has anyone transferred to one of these before?

Oh, and on the topic of pharmacies, I read somewhere that it's not required to stick to ones in your own state. Some pharmacies that specialize in compounding meds ship everywhere. Might be worth looking into if you're not having luck locally.

Just be careful with compounding pharmacies and make sure they're legit. I was reading about FDA inspections and it can be a bit scary. Do your research!

That's a really good point. I remember seeing something about one of them getting an FDA approval for meeting safety standards. So, it might be worth checking if they have that certification or something similar.

It's vital to prioritize safety when considering compounded medications. Thoroughly vet any compounding pharmacy and confirm they adhere to stringent quality control measures.
