GLP-1 progress after a year+

Down from around 230lbs to about 173lbs. I was on that one injectable for about half a year, and then switched to another. The weight's been coming off gradually. It went faster when I started walking more since we moved. I still watch what I eat, but it's way easier to say no to junk now. 😅

Amazing! You're looking fantastic. I've noticed that walking at least 3-4 times each week makes a big difference.

I'm getting close to a healthy BMI after about three months on a similar med. Still another 10lbs to go. Man, it's eye-opening. I can't handle many carbs unless they come from veggies. And exercise is a must. I was definitely snacking too much before.

People say these meds are cheating, but I think it's helped me understand my body and change my habits in a way that nothing else has.

I started a similar medication about 3 weeks ago. I'm still at a low dose, but will be going up soon. I've dropped about 10 pounds so far. I don't work out a ton bc of work, but I'm trying to get in more steps during my shifts.

Driving to a gym is a waste for me too. I am trying 20-30 min of bodyweight exercises at home 2-3x a week, which is plenty. I also got adjustable dumbbells to use.
