GLP-1 progress check-in

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update. I've recently started incorporating regular 5K runs into my week. This medicine has been a game-changer in managing my diabetes, and I've been able to cut back on some of my other meds. Plus, honestly, I feel like I'm looking pretty good.

I still get hit with body image issues sometimes, and dealing with clothes and sizing stuff can be tough. But I'm taking it one day at a time, knowing that societal pressures play a big role in how we see ourselves.

April '24: around 280 lbs?
June '25: down to 243

I totally get that! It's like your brain hasn't caught up with the new you yet! I've found thrifting to be helpful - less pressure and cheaper options while I figure out my new style.

That's a great idea! I might have to try hitting up some local shops. My closet is in shambles right now lol.

Started February at 197 and I'm around 172 now, though I should probably be closer to 170 with the pace I'm keeping. Still at point seventy-five dose and trying to stay there. You're doing great!
