GLP-1 progress - scale moving but me?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I was the same way for months, just obsessing over the scale going nowhere while my clothes were literally getting baggy. My family was telling me I looked different and I couldn't see it at all. Had to start going by measurements and photos, and that helped a lot more than the scale. Once I switched to tirz things picked up, but even then it was frustrating to watch others lose faster. The pictures tell a different story than the scale for a lot of us.

43 lbs in 7 months is real, but the health marker shift is the part that actually changes risk. Visceral fat reduction happens before the scale numbers tell the full story.

Years of strength training to get to consistently hitting 140-160g protein is the kind of earned baseline that puts you in a completely different position for body recomposition than someone just starting. The OP at 278 to 235 and not seeing it is exactly the perceptual lag that photos fix. The scale moving while the mirror lags is normal and the protein piece you've built is protecting muscle through it.

70-100g/day and maintaining muscle mass through 80 lbs is a good data point for what that range achieves. the 278 to 235 in the OP with the visual change in the photos is the kind of progress that shows up in pictures before the person can see it themselves. the scale moving but the self-perception lagging is one of the most common experiences here.
