GLP-1: Ride it out or Lifer?

Thanks for posting that info, Macro-Clean!

I plan to stabilize my weight loss, move to maintenance, then reduce my dose/spread out my dosing schedule slowly, maybe over years. Hopefully, I can get to the point where I don't need it. I'll let my jean size dictate my dosage. Jeans are loose, lower the dose. Jeans are tight, raise the dose. Hopefully, this works and I don't have to keep increasing the dose to maintain. I have a good supply stored.

I bet the folks who say they can eat anything and lose weight are the ones who have a LOT of weight to lose, like 80+ pounds. They're like the people who lose a ton in the beginning of keto diets. I was like that at first, losing 45 lbs. Now it's slowing down and I have about 40 more to lose. The last 20-30 lbs will be hard.

People with a small goal of like 20-30 lbs to lose probably won't have that 'eat anything and lose a lot' experience. Or they just have stronger appetite suppression than others.

I need to get on Reta. I'm still on sema, but it's not doing a whole lot for me other than making me feel a bit nauseous if I eat too much. How do you guys get it so cheap Maxie_1990? Is it from one of those online sources?

Damn, if that's the case, this is gonna be expensive for me. What if we actually have to get them prescribed through a doctor in the future?

That's the ideal way you should be getting them. These drugs aren't candies and have definite risks. It's best to be under the care of a physician while using them.

I hear you, Tone-Tale. I'm also thinking about just going by my clothes. If my pants are too tight, I might go back on for a bit or increase the dose. I definitely don't want to slowly creep up in weight again.

Here's some inspo for you all from Reddit. This lady lost 95 pounds. Went from a size 22/24 to a size 6! She said she plans to be on Mounjaro forever because of it.

I saw another post about someone who's been on sema and now Zepbound for 5 years. She's lost a LOT of weight: started at 260-270 and is now 130-135. And she says she plans to stay on it forever too. Says she can eat normal amounts without always being hungry.
