GLP-1 Stockpiling Thoughts?

I'm afraid to calculate my total spending. I've been intentionally vague about the financial aspect of this journey.

But, if I paid retail costs, I'm sure I'd be shocked versus my actual spending.

I would advise against that lol. I keep a spreadsheet, and I was taken aback. I literally exclaimed, "No way!"

Yep, that'll be me. I'm delaying the inevitable reckoning!

I'm mostly done with additional GLP-1 purchases (maybe!), but I'm exploring other peptides now!

Me too… but contingent on my estimated maintenance dosage being correct. If not, my supply will only last a couple of years.

This feels like retirement planning. Is my tirzepatide stash enough for a sustainable withdrawal strategy? 😂

As much as I dislike big pharma, their stocks are probably a solid long-term investment.
I'm planning to find a pharma ETF or mutual fund with investments in Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk.
In the meantime, I'll keep accumulating GLP-1s since I see myself using them indefinitely.

It is good to remember that it takes about a month for Mounjaro to completely leave your system due to its half-life. I guess if there's a shortage, skipping a week or two isn't the end of the world.

Good to know! Thanks for the reminder. I'm trying to figure out the bare minimum I can get away with for maintenance, so this is helpful.

I started Ozempic a year ago and the last six months have been tough because of supply issues. I went from 0.5 to 0.25 per week. I've lost around 30% of my starting weight. I am changing to something else next week because I can't get Ozempic.

Congrats on your progress! It's awesome that you're adapting and switching meds to maintain momentum during the shortage. Fingers crossed that your new medication works just as well!

Started tirzepatide last Friday at 2.5mg. Tried Wondr Health before - behavioral change focused, understanding why and when you eat. Couldn't stick to it without meds. Now combining tirz with the behavioral work again. Hoping this time the medication helps build actual discipline around food. Curious about mixing behavioral programs with GLP-1.
