GLP-1 Tariff fight?

Breaking News:

Looks like the Supreme Court just threw out a major part of the previous administration's tariff plan.

From what I understand, the 6-3 decision basically stops a big chunk of tariffs that were put in place a year or so ago using a law from the 70s. Apparently, the law lets the president declare an economic emergency and act, but it doesn't specifically say they can use tariffs as a solution.

I'm guessing prices will stay the same. Companies will just pocket the difference. They always say they'll lower prices or raise wages, but it never happens. Remember when they said casinos would lower taxes? It barely made a difference.

Last year, I had to pay an extra ~$11k in tariffs on something that was already being shipped when the tariffs were announced. It wasn't a huge deal, but I wouldn't mind getting that money back. Before the tariff, I had an order twice as big that cost way less to clear customs.

The previous administration could try other trade laws to bring back tariffs, like Section 301 or Section 232.

Just hoping this doesn't mess with my investments... It took a while to build up to where I am.

This isn't necessarily the end. There are other laws that could be used to bring back trade restrictions.

OK, since some of you asked about GLP-1s and tariffs... I saw something about how these tariffs could affect the price of medications like Ozempic. Could get expensive for us!

I saw something about legal issues with compounding pharmacies and GLP-1 meds. Guess the rules are changing quick. Staying compliant is key if you get compounded stuff.
