GLP-1 tariff wars?

Even with tariffs, it's still cheaper from overseas than buying from the big pharma companies. I'm more worried about other geopolitical events than tariffs.

I really want to say more... but it would just get deleted. Probably for the best. There are too many people to blame (beyond this forum), and they'll never admit they were wrong.

Not sure if it's for the best. It seems strange that your post was removed, especially since I've seen members express their opinions without consequence. I understand there's a political balance, but it would be nice to see more consistency when it comes to deleting posts. But, there's always the ignore button.

A fund for someone who retired about five years ago has an allocation of around 36% stocks right now. Stocks usually grow more than bonds over time. Since you're already heavy on bonds, I'd suggest staying put. Timing the markets is extremely difficult. There are factors, like tariffs and the stock market being high, that suggest it might be overvalued. However, AI could also boost the economy. Also, more people have access to the market than before. Low-fee investment options have also improved things. Since tax cuts, taxes on stock earnings are lower than on corporate bonds. I can't promise markets won't decline; I'm worried about that myself. But avoiding risk means missing potential growth.

I agree with this. But...
In my field, there used to be a sales tax on construction work. The honest businesses paid, while others didn't. In the end, you have to be competitive to get any business. So prices stayed the same for consumers, hurting the companies that were trying to follow the law.
I think we'll still get cheap products.

I agree. Now that people have seen what peptides can do, they'll go to any lengths to get them. Companies are making bank just from the number of customers.
It wouldn't make sense to turn away customers by charging prices like the big pharma companies.

Thanks for an answer! I can see that business as usual will happen until it really can't anymore.

I wasn’t moving toward the second item here 😬 although, isn’t the brand-name patent expiring in a certain country because they missed a filing deadline? If someone comes in at half the price, that could get interesting.

I do see your first item happening. I haven’t been here that long, but I've seen a few groups of new users arriving. And I’m finding peps to be like chips… My small collection grows.

Wow! I saw someone on Reddit say they went overseas and scored a whole year's supply for around $1500! I wish I had family somewhere I could ship stuff to.

Did they even keep it cold during transport? If not it's worthless!

New paper towels aren't sterile but at least clean - less human pathogens than a regular bench or cloth. Plastic bin liners might have lower bug count but aren't practical. With proper technique nothing from the surface should get in the vials anyway.

i get labs monthly. my regular doc wasn't helping so i do ulta or discount labs, whoever's running a promo. check hormones, bloodwork, liver, kidney. try some different compounds too.

i weigh the cost vs benefit. yeah china's cheaper for these peptides, but my guy's got reliable stock and fast shipping. no customs headaches. that alone is worth paying extra for peace of mind. buying everything in one place is huge.

there's a cost comparison chart floating around that's pretty useful. glpcalcs.com has most providers listed, though some might be missing. worth checking if you're shopping around.
