Started at 280 lbs (127 kg).
Now at 176 lbs (80 kg).

Used to be pre-diabetic (A1C 5.8%, now normal at 4.7%).

This medication has seriously been life-changing for me.

For those asking for more details:

I lost all this weight on 2.5mg and 5mg. Just recently went up to 6.5mg. Never needed 7.5mg or a higher dose.

I only started exercising about 6 months ago (around 15 months after starting the medication). I'm doing a PPL resistance training split 6 days a week. Bodybuilding is now a new hobby of mine. The last 6 months of training really sped up the fat loss—around 26 lbs of fat—while adding some muscle.

Diet-wise: I eat pretty healthy. This drug made me not crave junk food. I recently started taking whey protein and trying to hit my daily protein goals.

That's a good question, GoalWeightBetty. I'm still figuring it out. I'll probably stay on a low dose for maintenance and keep up with the diet and exercise.

280 to 176 with A1C from prediabetic to normal is the full picture - the body change and the metabolic change reinforcing each other.
