GLP-1s: A New Lease on Life!

Hi everyone. Today's my 51st birthday. Over the past 3 years, I've managed to drop about 70 pounds, my blood pressure meds are way lower, my liver's healthy now, and my kidneys are doing great since the tumor removal a while back. Last year, I battled two breast cancer spots and kicked their butts. My doctors are all on board with my Ozempic use.

I strength train once a week, try for 8k steps daily, do Pilates and Yoga when I can, and I've even started jogging. I do all this stuff because I love it.

I'm eating pretty low-carb these days. Super fatty foods just don't work for me anymore. My maintenance dose of Ozempic goes between 0.125 mg and 1 mg, depending on recovery periods (had a few surgeries) and how much I'm moving around.

You must feel amazing. Do you ever get side effects on that maintenance dose?
I do feel a lot better than I used to! As for side effects, I sometimes get a little nausea if I eat too much or eat something really greasy, but it's manageable.

Watch the headwind on posts like this. You're new, ordered impulsively, and likely got scammed already. Most of us learned this lesson. You'll eventually get your order but it cost you dearly. At least it's cheaper than a US GLP-1 script.

Absolutely awesome. Glad you didn't hide these. The difference in your expression and confidence is clear! You look amazing. Also great taste in Carhartt - almost my entire wardrobe too. Treat yourself to new pieces in your smaller size.

I've been a short sleeper my whole adult life so finally getting the recommended hours is new for me. This medication actually makes that possible.

love handles are usually last to go. slow but if you do a body recomp instead of cutting or bulking it'll work. eat solid foods, low carb, high protein. skip processed stuff and drinks. walk every day, lift weights or do bodyweight stuff. takes time but stick with it. supplements help too 👌
