Word to the wise: these meds can mess with how well oral birth control works! Or maybe it was losing over 55 pounds in only 4 months. Either way, I'm off them for a bit now, but I'll be back at it in a year or two!

Thanks, everyone! Huge surprise, but we're thrilled! Already have a couple kids, so I'm not stressing about the weight, but it'll be tough to watch the scale creep up after all this effort. I'm planning on hitting the gym for as long as I can to keep my blood sugar stable and bounce back faster. Mounjaro is def on the menu post-breastfeeding!

And I'm gonna need something extra strong, my hubby's feeling like Superman these days. LOL

A big congrats to you! My little Mounjaro miracle is now 9 months old, and I'm turning 40 this year! It seems to really ramp up fertility and undo some protection. Ladies, be warned! I dropped over 90 pounds, but ended up with a baby... and gained back about 60. Sigh.

Congrats! I got pregnant like... maybe four months after starting Mounjaro, after trying for a year and a half due to secondary infertility. Now I'm snuggling my perfectly healthy 10-week-old baby boy!

Wait a sec... oral birth control isn't as effective while on Mounjaro??? I def don't want a baby right now 😂 Is this fr?

Congrats to all!

But watch out, older ladies! Someone I know on MJ got pregnant at 50! I'm turning 50 in April, and the thought gives me the creeps 😭😂

Congrats all around! I lost around 65 lbs on mounjaro before I plateaued and BAM I was pregnant 😂. We'd been trying for half a decade before that.

Hormones are stored in fat. As you lose fat, you release those stored hormones! That's why people are getting pregnant. Hormonal birth control might not be as reliable.

I think I just figured something out... I get hormonal migraines, and I couldn't figure out why they came back when I was on MJ. This makes total sense!

I'm getting close to my goal weight, and honestly, I'm a little nervous. I've been so focused on losing, I haven't really thought about what happens *after*. Any advice?

Slowly taper off with a lower dose. Get used to the idea of maintenance, and listen to your body. Congrats on getting close!

I dropped nearly 30kg – it was amazing. I went from 95kg down to 65kg. But once I hit my goal, I didn't want to lose anymore! I went down on my dose and am trying to maintain. It's possible!
