GLP-1s and big weight loss?

I'm 65 and shed about 30 pounds. At this point in my life, I'm not interested in any surgical procedures for aesthetics. My loose skin is just part of the journey!

Fantastic success! Look at that beautiful waist-to-hip ratio: excellent work!

Following up on @Cut-Fit's question, it's important to monitor A1C levels closely while using Ozempic or similar medications for glycemic control. Regular blood work is crucial to assess efficacy and make dosage adjustments as needed.

I've been on Mounjaro for my diabetes and have seen pretty good results. My A1C went from 7.8 to 6.3, and I've managed to lose around 50 pounds. Still working on it!

Wow, 50 lbs is awesome! I'm on semaglutide and down about 15lbs after 2 months, but it's not as fast as some people I see. What does a consistent loss feel like?
It takes time! Don't compare yourself to others. Just keep making healthy choices and the weight will come off.

Interesting how different our bodies really are. Tried Tirzepatide for four months at 7.5, lost 36, hit goal. Plateau came around month four so I stacked Semaglutide with it. That combo? Exactly what you described - feels liberating to choose food instead of needing it.

Society engineered food to hit dopamine buttons. That's why I ate all the time. This med helps regulate that dopamine stuff so you're not fighting biology anymore. And yeah there's weird stigma around any health med but it's just a tool. Positive side effects might show up too.
