GLP-1s and Chocolate?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I saw something about the FDA possibly restricting compounding pharmacies from making certain peptides. Has anyone else heard about that?

On mounjaro since march, type 2 diabetic. Drop the dose before stopping completely. Sulfur burps respond to antacids or pepcid—ask your doc. Spicy greasy foods and sweets trigger it. Drink 2-3 liters water daily, probiotics for gut health.

did great on the starter dose, but around week 5 or 6 i felt it wearing off—started getting hungry again. bumped it up and boom, completely different story. no side effects. been at the higher dose a few weeks now and still solid. dropped probably 15-18 pounds since early march.

I've seen the number tossed around every way imaginable, 8% by the end of last year, 12% by the following quarter, and lately people are saying 15%. Feels like these figures deserve about as much trust as that famous made-up 83% stat, /j. There's probably a kernel of truth in there, just wrapped in a lot of marketing spin meant to grow the category. What does seem verifiable: Lindt has reported a jump in premium dark chocolate sales stateside, and clothing brands have already had to rework their size distribution.

Short recap from an AI note-taking tool I ran the source through:

Main points from the Gallup 2024 report on where things stand with this drug class:

Adoption has exploded: close to one in nine Americans, tens of millions of people, currently use one of these medications for weight control, a huge jump from a tiny fraction just two years ago.
It's gone mainstream: these treatments have moved well past the early-adopter phase, with a meaningfully larger share of the population having tried one at some point.
Obesity is finally dropping: national rates are falling for what looks like the first time in ages, a shift that tracks closely with when this drug class took off.
