Pharma side here (antibodies, fill-finish). I know the markup is wild. Started compounding when insurance wouldn't cover tirzepatide—that was the plan til the FDA crackdown. Now I'm just buying what I can and stocking up.

Things DO improve! I've been taking Mounjaro for like, almost 4 years. My, uh, movements are pretty predictable nowadays...thank goodness!

Fortunately, Metformin helped me when I first started. I stayed at 7.5 mg, so I could keep a low dose of Metformin. It balanced the constipation. Now that I've achieved my weight reduction goal, I stopped the Metformin. But I'm glad I tried it. Now I'm keeping steady on 7.5 mg and don't have issues. I'm mindful of not overeating, so it's manageable.

tirzepatide side effects can include nausea, fatigue, sulfur burps, constipation, diarrhea, chills. there's more but nothing too harsh. might get 1 or 2, might get none. everyone reacts different.

I take a spoonful of magnesium citrate. Or sometimes two. It is enough to make a slight change without going too far, if you know what I mean.

I think it's super important to avoid processed foods, especially anything fried because they don't sit well when you're taking Mounjaro.

Are you sure it's not just a coincidence? I got hit with a bad stomach bug recently and it came out of nowhere, and I was praying for it to stop. I'm on Mounjaro too, but not everything is a side effect of the medication - we can still get sick normally!
