GLP-1s and... tummy troubles?

I'm at 288.4lbs today (used to be 400lbs in 2016)! So glad to see the numbers going down, but this recent gallbladder removal due to gallstones has thrown a wrench in things. Weight's going down, but I'm running to the bathroom w/ diarrhea right after eating. It'll pass, I know, but I'm worried it's going to mess with my dating life. Trying to focus on healing, but can't shake the feeling I'll be alone forever.

Someone like Jelly Roll is considered a sex symbol these days, LOL. I dropped 50lbs through diet alone. Only about 5-10lbs after a year on OZ. Amazing transformation!

Don't feel discouraged! I've been there too, but we need to support each other. You will find love and happiness as long as you don't give up. Never give up!

Gallbladder stuff is rough. Had mine out maybe 2 decades ago when I was at uni. Took me like 5 years to adjust and not have to sprint to the toilet after every meal. You'll get there! Ask your doctor about digestive enzymes if you aren't already taking them. You got this!

Having a partner doesn't magically make you a better or more deserving person. It doesn't change your looks or anything. Just gotta get lucky. Most of my exes had way worse problems than needing a bathroom after eating, and they're with new people, or even married...

Hey Dose_Guy, I know the bathroom issues suck. What about constipation? I struggled with that even with a good diet and fiber supplements. Have you tried anything for that?

That's the funny thing, it's the opposite! I'm having the opposite problem. After the gallbladder removal, everything just goes right through me. It's like my body can't process fats properly anymore. Maybe I should try some kind of binding fiber supplement.

I've heard of people getting super gassy on these meds. Anyone else have that issue? I'm worried about, like, accidentally letting one rip in a meeting or something, LOL.

Oh yeah, the gas can be REAL. It usually calms down after a few weeks as your body gets used to the meds. But in the meantime, maybe avoid beans and cruciferous veggies before important meetings? 😅
