GLP-1s changed my life!

You look amazing! I'm trying to figure out a maintenance dose... I stopped my OZ injections about a month and a half ago after hitting my goal at the beginning of the year. I'm starting to get the 'food noise' back and have gained a couple of pounds. I restarted at 0.25 mg today. Any advice?

To [@H-Town_Hottie]: Maintaining weight loss after stopping GLP-1s can be tricky. It's good you recognized the return of food noise early. A low dose restart is a reasonable approach. Monitor your weight and consider lifestyle adjustments like diet and exercise to support your maintenance efforts. There are also other medications that can help stabilize weight.

I understand. I've been there, trying to lose weight forever. I suffered a stroke two years ago, and it was even harder to lose weight and keep it off. Starting semaglutide felt like a miracle back around New Year's. Almost zero side effects for 6 months. Keep going! Don't give up!

Three years and 70 pounds is the kind of result that reflects a sustainable pace rather than a crash - the metabolic changes that come with that timeline tend to hold where fast drops don't.

Instant Pot for batch meal prep during active GLP-1 use is smart - cooking pouches of protein-forward meals in advance removes the friction of preparing food when appetite is unreliable. The key difference between the two batches in the steaming protocol is usually texture: the first lower-heat batch keeps moisture better for lean proteins, while the second extended batch suits longer hold times. Worth tracking which works for the different protein sources you're cycling through.
