GLP-1s changed my life!

It's still wild to believe. I went from like 300+ pounds and super inactive to down 50+ pounds these past few months. Plus I've really gotten into walking, some hard core cardio, and just being healthy. We are heading to climb a mountain when we go on holiday soon, I'm pumped! Cutting calories, actually moving around, and my prescription really did it.

I'm down about 45lbs in 4 months, and the biggest thing I've noticed is how much EASIER it is to be active. I actually *want* to go for longer walks now. It's wild!

It's interesting how much GLP-1s shift your whole relationship with food and exercise. Like, I *know* I need to move more to retain muscle while losing weight, but the med makes it less of a mental battle to actually get out there.

I've been on Oz for about three months, and I'm getting close to my goal BMI. It's a real eye-opener how much snacking I used to do. Now, I can't even tolerate many carbs unless they are coming from vegetables. Who would have thought?

Exactly! That's why I'm so stoked about this hike. A few months ago, I would never even have considered it.

Started with Options Weight Loss and dropped 50. Money ran out but I kept losing on my own, another 30 down. Then I got Zepbound through new coverage, lost 55 more. Total is 135 pounds spread across 18 months - went from 310 to 175, hit my goal in early 2025. Up to 190 now, wrestling with food cravings constantly. Starting HERS next to keep it off. Honestly this has changed everything for me.

Started near 200 pounds. Doesn't sound heavy right? But at five-five and smaller frame, my pants were a 27 inseam with a 36 waist max. Now 30 inch waist, weighed this morning at 137. Yeah, it changed my entire life.

The BMI calculation misses the frame-size piece entirely. At a smaller frame, numbers that look moderate on paper can represent significant excess for that structure - clothes and how they fit tell a more accurate story than a scale or a generic formula.

310 to 160 is 150 pounds. That kind of change does not leave much room for anything small or temporary. Starting in December 2024 and being where you are now is a fast timeline for that result.

MOTS-C and SS-31 address different parts of the same mitochondrial pathway. If MOTS-C is clearly working, adding SS-31 is a logical step. Most report clearer energy improvement from the combination than either alone.
