GLP-1s kill cravings?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Cut down on processed snack food by roughly 80 percent. This whole class of medication is going to seriously disrupt the alcohol and tobacco industries once it becomes mainstream.

These meds seriously cut down my cravings and stopped the boredom snacking completely. Occasionally I'll still want something sweet, but just a small taste settles it, no urge for more. Overdo it and you end up feeling sick anyway.

Most of us eat for hedonic hunger, basically an addiction or comfort. GLP1s have been shown to calm every addiction, alcoholism and gambling included, and I think that explains much of it. They also slow digestion so you stay full longer, plus probably other reasons. For me, food barely crosses my mind now. It is fuel I need to survive, not a reward or a constant thought like before.

Yep, I stayed an alcoholic for years on it. Maybe the GLP-1 will be enough to get you to quit :) My doctor prescribed gabapentin and that helped me stop.

Bruh, worrying about effectiveness for cravings is one thing, but fretting over GLP1 side effects while dealing with alcoholism is kind of an oxymoron. Telling you what to do isn't my place, but in your spot I'd jump on it right away. Best case it kills the cravings, worst case you end up at a healthier weight. No brainer to me.
