Not familiar at all with that antidepressant you mentioned, but after eighteen months running the dual-action medication, appetite suppression has completely disappeared for me. My understanding is that's typical, and looking at the clinical trial data for the weight-loss version of this same drug, participant weight loss plateaued entirely by around week 72.
Glucose control is still solid, though skipping my usual intense workout routine would probably mean I'm not still dropping weight, and might even be creeping back up a little. That said, I never counted as one of the super responders anyway.
What is clear is that this medication class behaves differently person to person, so if stopping your other medication brought back effectiveness for you, that's fantastic news!
