GLP-1s: Magic bullet?

I'm curious how one scores some of that research dough! I got ideas galore:

* Why are puppies so darn cute (the squish factor)
* Can you get addicted to treadmills?
* Is decaf even REAL coffee?!

No freaking way!

For those of you considering GLP-1s like semaglutide, remember it's a tool, not a miracle. It assists with portion control and reduces food cravings, but it still requires commitment and lifestyle adjustments. I've seen many patients achieve A1C improvements from 6.6 to 5.6 in a brief period, which can prevent diabetes. But it is not no-work!

Ok, so I'm on sema and honestly, it's not some magic weight-loss thing. You still gotta put in the effort. It just makes controlling cravings and portions a bit easier. Like, I still crave pizza, but I can actually stop at 2 slices instead of the whole pie, LOL.

I totally agree with Food_Sis!

It's not cheating, and it isn't easy. I have to actively do the work, and it helps me make real changes.

I've dropped nearly 75 pounds in the last year just by changing my eating habits and walking more. I can only imagine what would happen if I actually started working out!

I'm not about to tell everyone I know that I'm taking this stuff. It's private. It's my health. I don't need opinions, you know?

Totally understand that approach, Pat61. It's nobody's business, really. People will judge no matter what you do.
