GLP-1s making pain vanish?

Totally! Part of it's got to be easier on the joints since I've lost weight, but the drop in inflammation has been a game changer for me. I honestly think it'll let some people ditch pain meds eventually. I just wish it wasn't so expensive and that more people had access to it.

My wife has lupus, so lots of inflammation and pain. She's been using tirz since May '25. It's really improved her life quality, noticeably. She used to hurt constantly, her inflammation was super high, but now she exercises regularly, and her mood is way better. Her rheumatologist just checked her blood work and told her to keep doing what she's doing!

Wow, that's great news. I've got some spinal pain from a condition, and some days it's not as intense as usual. I thought I was imagining things, but hearing your stories makes me think the tirz is helping in other ways.

Tirz is amazing for my pain! I haven't tried anything else yet, but that's a big reason I'm even on this forum - to learn more.

I'm on Tirzepatide, plus a little reta to maintain weight loss. I also have ulcerative colitis with lingering abdominal pain and diarrhea even when it is supposed to be in remission, plus or minus IBS. I used to take semaglutide, and either it or tirzepatide helped slow down my gut and reduce pain. Probably not as much as losing half my body weight and changing my diet, but it still made a difference.

The weight loss from GLPs helps with arthritis, and the anti-inflammatory effects help with other painful inflammation-related problems. There's a lot of good science on this. Unfortunately, most other popular peptides haven't had much human testing, so using them is more experimental.

My pain is way down. I've had a bad back for decades, and being overweight made it much worse. I've lost about 70 lbs.

I don't know if the pain reduction is from less inflammation, losing weight, or something else, but it's real and I'm grateful!

I take 2.75mg a day from 80mg vials of premixed. I don't worry about any overfill. I don't care if I get a little more or less. It works out to 10 units. I don't think a higher dose would be dangerous either.

Has anyone else been feeling cold all the time since starting? I feel like I can't get warm lately, even with the thermostat up a few degrees. Is this just the meds, or maybe from eating less?

Yes! I have to wear layers all the time now. I've lost weight before but never felt this chilly. Maybe it's because of less insulation now haha.

I am always feeling a little sick. A bit of nausea or heartburn. Anyone else? Is this my new normal?

My wife experienced some nausea at first, but switching to tirzepatide really helped. You might want to look into that as an option, or see if your doctor can prescribe something for the nausea.
