GLP-1s rockin' your world?

Totally agree with @TirzHappy - do what you gotta do to drop the weight. If anyone gives you flak about using GLP-1s, or your diet, or whatever...it's really none of their business. You don't owe them an explanation.

Exactly!

Just tell 'em you're feeling a little under the weather if they ask why you're not eating. If they pry about the weight loss, give 'em a simple fib. 'I've been watching my portions.' 'Cutting back on treats.' Whatever shuts them up. It's all about setting boundaries.

I've noticed a definite decrease in joint pain since starting. I think it's from the reduced inflammation from eating cleaner because of the meds. I'm type 2, so I had to overhaul my diet when I started. I had a noticeable drop in pain and a boost in energy. I realized I hadn’t had any pain episodes in almost a week! Adding some things back in slowly (for sanity's sake), but overall, the pain is way less than before.

Been on it for over 2 years, and haven't told most folks. Figured I'd avoid all the opinions. Down around 65 pounds, still got maybe 30 more to go. A friend told me she was worried about people taking "those shots" because they're "so bad for you!" LOL... yeah, okay.

These are being studied for treating substance and alcohol dependence. They do something with reward pathways. Are they swapping one addiction for another? Could be. Compare it to steroid users claiming they're improving through planned PED use while steroid abuse is known addiction. Are these actually different?

Ha, please wear socks! It's great seeing people hit their goals but honestly, nobody needs to see bare feet in scale pics. Most of us have goofy looking feet and that's fine, but keep them out of photos.
