Goals on GLP-1s!

I'm celebrating a win! Started on Mounjaro in April '24 after my T2D diagnosis. It's been a steady climb towards better health.

SW: 240 lbs
CW: 150 lbs
A1C: Dropped from 10.5 to 5.3
Clothing: Size 18/2X to a comfortable 8/Medium

Seeing the doc soon to figure out the long game for glucose and weight, but right now, I'm just feeling really good. Sending positive vibes to everyone else on this journey!

That's fantastic news! I'm about two months in. Been losing around 3lbs weekly. But I gained a little this past week. I'm trying not to get discouraged. Is it normal to have ups and downs?

So glad to hear you're doing well. I'm on Ozempic and it's a little hard to work out still, but I try to keep up with walking and strength training. It's not easy lugging around extra weight!

For those asking about long-term use: as a healthcare professional, I can say that for many with T2D, GLP-1s are a long-term management solution, much like other medications for chronic conditions. It's about managing health, not just a quick fix.
