Goodbye Shot Day!

My last injection is coming up! I'm so excited, it feels like the start of something new. My insurance actually came through for plastic surgery, scheduled for early October. So grateful, even though my parents aren't here to see it, I know they'd be cheering me on. I've lost 190 lbs! CraZy! Its been like 16 months. Who would have guessed this would work?!

Panniculectomy, breast lift, some lipo, muscle repair, and a tummy tuck. Is this real life? Someone pinch me! 😁🥰🤣

Keep at it everyone, it's worth it! Don't give up or get sidetracked. You've got this! Remember, you're doing it for *you*! Stay strong.

Biotin, fish oil, calcium, and a multi are essential. Protein is your friend. And don't forget stool softeners and fiber!

Thank you to all my doctors and I appreciate this whole process. I've learned so much, and I'm hoping I've learned enough to not go back to my bad eating habits from before.

Huge congrats!!! 🎉🎉🎉 So happy to read this!

I'm down around 175 lbs. Had a lower body lift all the way around, lipo, and they fixed my stomach muscles, plus an arm lift about 6 weeks ago. I don't regret it for a second; it was totally worth it.

You look incredible, Happy_Update! I totally ignored the advice to drink tons of water, eat fiber, and use a stool softener! I just survived the worst constipation ever. Never had hemorrhoids, nothing like this. I'm chugging water from now on... even when I feel stuffed. On the bright side, I'm down 45 lbs since May. My clothes are practically falling off. This medicine is a game-changer.

Huge congratulations 🎊 You look amazing 😍. Good luck with your surgery and thanks for the encouragement.

You look fantastic! Huge congrats!

If you don't mind sharing, how did you get your insurance to cover the surgery?

You look absolutely amazing! Look at all your hard efforts! You got this! Your loved ones must be so proud of you! Keep up the great work. You're doing so well!

Congratulations, Happy_Update. And best of luck with your upcoming procedure. I can't believe your insurance covered everything! They approved my panniculectomy, but I'm on the hook for anything else I want.

I didn't have quite as much to lose as you, but I might ask my doctor at my next appointment.

Again, congratulations, and best wishes!

You look absolutely stunning. And thank you for taking the time to motivate others in your post... that's so thoughtful. It came at the perfect time for me. I was losing about 1.5 lbs a week, but this past month I only lost like 0.1 lbs the whole month. And nausea on top of that. I was questioning what I'm even doing. So I've reread your message a bunch. Thanks again for thinking of others while celebrating your INCREDIBLE success!

Thanks everyone for the support! I really appreciate the good wishes.

Erin71, my surgeon documented the medical necessity of removing the excess skin due to recurring skin infections and mobility issues. I had photos to back it up too!

I've been reading about peptides for anti-aging lately. Has anyone tried any specifically for skin benefits? I'm curious if they actually make a difference. I saw some mentions of TB500 for injury recovery too, which is interesting.

There are some compounded skin creams with promising ingredients for aging skin. I've seen some presentations on those, but I haven't tried them myself. I would be interested to see if anyone has personal experience.
