Hair falling out? Vote YES!

I'm going slow (half a lb or so each week), pounding the protein (100g+ every day). And I take a horse pill multivitamin plus collagen. My hair's gotten thicker and feels healthier now.

Been on the meds for around two months and I see some hair thinning. Picking up prenatal vitamins tomorrow. Been using rosemary oil too, to see if it helps growth. I think the recent passing of my father has added some stress and might be a factor.

I used to think people were making it up. Thought it was just from losing weight fast. I'm a slow loser, so I didn't see any change at first. Now all of a sudden, my hair part is wider and I can totally see more scalp. Always shed a little, but I had a ton of hair. Seeing my scalp now is making me nervous. Been on Wegovy for a year and did not have this problem. So I am pretty sure it's from the newer medication.

Hair started falling out after nine months and about 70 lbs lost. I think dropping weight in the long run is a shock to the system and losing hair is normal. Hopefully, it will grow back!

Almost at the 10 month mark, had about five months of zero hair loss, but around month six it's been pretty consistent hair in my brush. I have a ton of hair, so I'm not too worried yet. Should I vote yes or no since I'm now affected?

Trying to get a handle on just how many people are seeing hair loss versus not. Lemme know!
You might want to do a poll to see how long folks have been on this stuff, since the longer you're on and the more restricted the diet, the more likely to see hair loss. Interesting to see when it becomes a problem because it's common from what I've read.

My hair was thinning even before starting Mounjaro. I have PCOS, T2D, and thyroid issues. I freaked out when I started reading about hair falling out here like a couple years ago. I quit doing anything to my hair and just went to a salon every two weeks. Wore extensions for nine months so the damaged hair could grow back. Used rosemary and mint hair oil. My vitamin D was always low, so I did 5000 IU twice a week plus vitamin K2. I eat a ton of protein and drink water like crazy. My hair is super long and thick now. I thought I was going to rock my natural curls this summer. It takes a full day for my hair to dry completely. I'm doing no heat this summer.

I lost hair when I started intermittent fasting originally. So, when I started Mounjaro I started taking biotin and collagen every day. Seems to have worked, and my hair has been fine.

Lost hair at first, but it stopped after 3 months. Haven't had any more loss since then. Eating about 1500 calories a day with 120 - 150g of protein. Strength training 3-4 times a week and pickleball 3-4 times a week too.

While we're talking about body changes... has anyone noticed stomach wrinkles after losing a bunch of weight? I've lost almost 50 pounds and now my stomach wrinkles weirdly when I flex. I've been lifting for a year, hoping that will help, but no luck so far.

Some people consider a tummy tuck for that. I've also heard that "Ozempic face" can be an issue. Everything sags!

I had never heard that before!

I'd rather have a saggy face than be overweight tbh.

Staying at 160 after stopping shows you learned portion control. That's the real win from the medication.
