Half a year down! 🎉

Starting Mounjaro was honestly one of the best choices I've ever made for myself, and I can't stop raving about it! 😄 For the first time in over two decades (I'm 40 now), I feel like I have a healthy and happy relationship with food. It isn't the enemy anymore.

I've stretched my dose out to 2.5mg every nine or ten days, and so far it's working great. I've noticed the cravings returning a little, but I've spent the last six months developing habits to help me cope. Now when I'm feeling triggered and have the urge to use food for comfort, I'll get up and take the dogs for a walk instead. Or I'll play some video games, or blast music and dance around. Something that gets me moving and keeps my hands busy. For me, the danger zone is in front of the TV at night because that's when I want to mindlessly snack on stuff. Now I find an alternative, and the cool thing is, when I do snack, I stop when I'm satisfied, not when I'm painfully full!

You look fantastic! Your arms have great definition. Approximately how much weight have you lost, and how often do you incorporate weightlifting into your routine? Any advice?

Girl, you've built those deltoids faster than people who have been lifting for years! Congrats on your visible progress, you must have a fantastic genetic base for building muscle. Majorly jealous!

You look like you belong on the cover of a Health and Fitness magazine!! Can you come rough up my husband a little? I'll give you a whole box of 2.5 MJ.😂😂 Just kidding, just kidding! But seriously, you look absolutely amazing and so happy! Great work and congratulations 🎊

Question: I'm on MJ and ABSOLUTELY LOVE strength training! I've been at it for about three months now and I've dropped 40 pounds, but I'm feeling a bit stalled at the moment.

Anyway, how do you manage to get enough food/protein? I really struggle with that.

Hey The_Sema_Source, in response to your earlier question: I find that planning out my meals for the week really helps me hit my protein goals. I also supplement with protein shakes on days when I know I'm going to be short. It's a constant balancing act, but it's manageable!

This gives me hope! I'm almost at 20 lbs down and feeling so good. It's wild how much better I feel, not just physically but mentally too.

This really resonates with me, it's like a switch flipped!

I'm so jealous of all of you who are losing weight! I've been on this for about 6 weeks now and haven't seen a huge change. What dose are you all on when you started seeing results?

curious when you take your hgh dose and how much? i read both morning and before bed but nothing online agrees on fasted or not. your sleep is great so want to hear how you do it.
