Hit the 6 month mark, and I'm down 127 pounds! (About 58 kg). My doctor said I've got the health of someone decades younger. Huge change in clothing size too, went from a 5X to a 2X. I remember getting some negativity last time I posted about my process here, so I took a break from sharing. But this is a big milestone! I really want to motivate anyone who started over 400 pounds – it can happen!

127 pounds... that's like a whole person! Imagine carrying that around all day, every day. GLP-1s are legit game changers for so many people with chronic weight issues. A true medicine for a real health problem.

I started at 425lbs, now I'm at 247lbs, and aiming for 60 more to lose. Was wearing 8XL, and now rocking 2XLs. Here's my progress:

That's amazing progress, Hank_2002! Huge congrats to you! Dropping 127lb in just over 6 months is incredible. You must feel fantastic! And the clothing size change... awesome!

What dosage are you on currently, if you don’t mind me asking?

I'm starting month 3, increasing to 7.5mg. Scale hasn't moved a TON (lost a bit over 20lbs) but my clothes feel so much better. Focusing on those non-scale wins. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Over 100 pounds gone in a few months, you must feel great. If you're not already, I'd suggest starting weight training. I just did walking for my first six months, then hit a plateau. Started lifting and even though the scale stalled, my body comp kept changing. Gaining muscle and losing fat. You probably have some residual muscle from carrying all that weight before, so you'll likely rebuild it faster. Don't get discouraged if the scale doesn't move as fast, recomp is still progress!

Thanks! That's an amazing achievement. Sorry to hear about the negativity you experienced earlier, people shouldn't do that. Every pound lost is a victory!

Amazing progress! It's so motivating to hear about your journey. Thanks for sharing, and best of luck as you continue. It really IS life changing.

I began at 2.5 for a couple of months and only dropped maybe 5 or 6 pounds. When I upped it to 7.5 for a month, I started losing more. But when I hit 10mg, the weight really started coming off. So happy with the results. I went from 164 to 139 in just four months. I'm 72, and hadn't been overweight until after losing my brother a few years ago. This medication is helping me find my way back.

I saw someone else sharing their progress online – down to 180 pounds from 262! Amazing stuff. They said they're eating everything, just smaller portions, and exercising frequently. That's dedication!

It's so important to remember that what works for one person might not work for another. I've only lost a little over 20lbs on sema, but I'm celebrating every victory, big or small. Seeing success stories like Hank_2002 gives me so much hope! We need to support each other's journeys!

Hey plot-twist, besides the meds, I really focused on portion control and trying to make healthier choices. I'm currently on the highest dose available. It's been a combo of everything, really.

Just a reminder to everyone - be cautious about where you get your meds! There is stuff out there that isn't FDA approved, and you don't know what it is! Be safe!
