On heavier medication loads for rare chronic stuff plus had emergency surgery this year, so been careful. Half self-paid though cheap. Should probably thank that person for the accidental reminder to stay cautious.

Give it a shot. Mine hasn't kicked in like everyone else's. I get some appetite help but not the full effect. Maybe the coffee thing will make the difference for me.
 
Being a slow responder at 18 months means the mechanism is active but calibrated differently - the coffee trick is worth trying since it works for some people via timing and gastric motility. At that duration though, a dose or compound review with your doctor is probably the more direct lever.
 
the rule-reading problem on forums is older than the internet - the information is there, the challenge is that people join specifically because they have an urgent question and reading guidelines is the last thing on their mind in that moment. the ones who end up the most valuable community members are almost always the ones who did read them
