Half my size - a Sema story!

Okay, I just HAD to share this. I went to buy new jeans, and some college girls were also shopping. I wanted to try on a size 6 because my 8s were too big. I waited until those girls left because I thought they'd judge me, thinking I couldn't fit into a size 6. Even though my old jeans were too loose, my brain still messes with me. Body dysmorphia is a real struggle. But guess what? The 5/6 jeans fit perfectly, and I started crying because I never thought I'd get here. If you're dealing with this, you're not alone! ♥️

Sema has truly changed my life. 💜 I highly suggest trying it. Here's how I did it: I followed a high-protein, limited carb and sweets diet, drank plenty of water and electrolytes, and exercised moderately. Last year was all about dropping pounds, and this year is about building up my muscles.

I went from a size 22 to a size 5/6. My confidence went from like, 1/10 to a solid 10/10. My kids and I are having so much more fun together. I feel like a totally new person, and sometimes I don't even recognize myself.

Thanks for posting, Wes19!

Wes19 You look amazing! How long were you on semaglutide to lose so much? Are you dealing with excess skin? I'm worried about that. My dad dropped over 200 lbs, and it took years for his arm skin to bounce back, but he still had loose skin on his stomach and thighs.

I needed this today. I've dropped almost 40 pounds since July. I started at 290, and getting off the floor was brutal. That motivated me to start this. The other day, I got down on the floor, and I got back up easily! I also have body dysmorphia and think I can't do certain things or fit into certain things.

Are you taking any collagen supplements or anything? I checked your profile, and you don't have the 'Ozempic face'...you were always pretty, but you look like you're getting younger! I know it could be genetics (maybe Italian?), but do you have any tips?

I weigh about that much! I started at 332 a week ago and took my second dose yesterday. At weigh-in, I was down to 326, so 6 lbs in a week. How long did it take you to lose everything? You look amazing! Always have, by the way.

Just curious, and I know it depends on genetics, but did you have a lot of loose skin? That's my only worry.

I had a similar victory, Wes19. I bought some rain boots online a few years ago that I loved, but my calves were too big to even get them on! I put them away, hoping one day I would wear them. Well, that day finally came!

OMG! I know exactly that feeling! I also bought some snow boots last year that didn't fit around my calves or feet. I had to really struggle to get them on. This year, I slipped right into them without a second thought! So happy for you, FoodDude!

Wow, Wes19, your post is so inspiring! I'm aiming for results like yours, and I'm around your starting weight now. I'll keep coming back to this for motivation. Did you make any major diet changes?
